Statutory Information
Like all schools, we are required to publish information about attendance and about children's performance in national SATs tests at age seven (Key Stage One) and eleven (Key Stage Two).
You can compare this data with results published by other schools, and with national figures. You can make comparisons between schools by looking at the School Profile. You can get this from the school or by following the links below. We generally do a lot better than national figures. You can find the national figures on the DFES website by following the link below.

STATUTORY REPORTING ON EQUALITY 2009
Myrtle Park Primary School actively promotes equality of opportunity for all, regardless of age, gender, race, religion, culture, disability or sexual orientation.
This involves promoting equality, challenging discrimination and stereotyping, eliminating victimisation or harassment, promoting positive and inclusive attitudes, and removing barriers to participation in the life and learning in the school.
Links will soon be placed here to the school's combined equality plan, which shows how the school is addressing these areas.
We are required to report on progress every year. The sections below are a summary of progress for 2008-9 school year. Full reports can be obtained from our school office.
Race
- There have been no recorded racist incidents.
- We have improved analysis of pupil progress to take greater account of racial groups.
- We are checking our resources for negative stereotypes.
- We promote positive attitudes to diversity, particularly through our strong link with Frizinghall Primary School.
- We are rebuilding our international partnerships.
Gender
- We continue to promote equal opportunities for boys and girls and men and women.
- We are seeking more male role models and now have more men working in school.
- Analysis of children's achievement shows a widening gender gap.
Disability
- The school building is now fully accessible for people with mobility difficulties.
- The hall ceiling has been replaced with an acoustic absorbent material. This has greatly improved the hall as a learning space and removed a significant block to the learning and participation of all children, but particularly those with hearing or auditory processing difficulties.
- All children and adults with disabilities now have a personal exit plan for emergency evacuation.
- We are formalising our consultation arrangements.
