Admissions
Myrtle Park is a Foundation School. This means that the Governing Body controls admissions, within the agreed local Bradford arrangements.
We take children aged three and four part-time in nursery, and in main school from September of the school year when they are five.
The admissions for nursery and the main school are separate, and a nursery place does not guarantee a place in the main school.
We allocate places first to children who live closest to the school, giving highest priority to children who live in our priority area, which runs between the railway and the river roughly from the Cattle Market near Bingley Grammar to Ghyll Wood, near Beckfoot School. Usually about two thirds of our children come from the priority area.
