Keelham is a successful school, reflected in its pupils' attitude, enthusiasm and attainment. They achieve well; they enjoy school; they behave well and they make an important contribution to the way in which the school develops.
The school has high expectations of them, which are shared with both pupil and parents. The school is proud of the way that it provides for a wide range of learners and values all aspects of a child's education. Every child really does matter.
Although Keelham is a small school it offers a range of activities and learning experiences both in and out of school time. Often this is achieved by working closely with other schools and agencies. Parents are actively involved in the school in a number of ways and the school offers support in return.
There is a good team culture at Keelham which the pupils tell us contributes to their success. The school has amazing success in team sports. Keelham was awarded Healthy Schools status recognising the value which it places on sport and PE, healthy lifestyles and mutual support.
Pupils leaving the school continue to succeed both at secondary school and beyond, building on our success in laying a firm foundation.
