Welcome to Keelham Primary

"Keelham Primary School provides a good education in a welcoming and caring environment, where pupils feel safe, are happy, and are keen to learn and do well." OFSTED 2013

Keelham Primary is a smaller than average school set in a semi rural environment on the outskirts of Bradford and Halifax. As such it serves a diverse community, from the villages of Thornton, Denholme and Keelham.

We have a yearly intake of just 15 pupils for each year group and as such, Keelham offers mixed age classes comprising of a Foundation Stage unit for our Nursery and Reception age children, a Year 1 and 2 class for children aged 5-7 years old, a mixed Year 3 and 4 class for children aged 7-9 and for our 9-11 year olds, a mixed Year 5 and 6 class.

Being a small school never stops Keelham from offering the very best opportunities available for our children and we work hard to enhance the children’s education through enrichment activities and creative learning.

We take pride in our family ethos and welcome the whole family as part of our community.
